The fragrance opens with a bright, old fashioned sassafras impression built from orange, ginger, clove, nutmeg, and black pepper. Beneath it sits sweet tobacco, cedar, sandalwood, worn leather, old books, coffee, and musk, creating a dry, slightly smoky finish that feels more like a scene than a conventional perfume.
It is spicy without becoming bakery sweet, nostalgic without smelling juvenile, and
